This is a gorgeous 1982 "The Cookie Tasting" plate by Joseph Csatari from the Csatari Grandparents series released by Edwin M. Kowles USA

It is hallmarked on the back Plate Number 9729B / Bradex No. 84-K.41-4.3

The back of the plate SAYS: "Of the only edition of "The Cookie Testing", an original work by Joseph Csatari. Painted exclusively for the third issue in the Csatari Grandparent series and crafted strictly to the traditional standards of Knowles, America's oldest name in fine china, in a single edition limited forever to one hundred firing days".

It is certainly to enhance the beauty and elegance of any collection or decor.

This plate is pretty. It has a milky white high gloss finish and about 8 1/2" in diameter. The plate is decorated with a gorgeous original artwork by Joseph Csatari portraying a loving Grandmother takes fresh baked cookies out of the over while Grandpa sneaks one that is colling on the table to the delight of the grandchildren. The artwork is finely detailed and brilliantly colored.
